CAPE TOWN - Leader of the uMkhonto weSizwe Party Jacob Zuma ’s attempts to return to the African National Congress have not yielded the desired outcome, as the party insisted his expulsion was fully in line with its constitution.
After serving the ANC for 62 years, Zuma was expelled from the party in 2024, following his decision to form his political organisation. Among his reasons, Zuma claimed the ANC acted unfairly by refusing to hold his disciplinary hearing in person or publicly, adding that the party treated him unjustly.
