The findings of the State of Cape Town Central City Report 2023 – A Year in Review , released last week by the Cape Town Central City Improvement District, provides an example of how urbanisation drives residential property trends. Of the 30 buildings under construction or recently completed in Cape Town’s CBD, 40% were residential and seven were mixed-use .
