Despite being culled earlier this year, Nissan is still registering new NP200 sales and the model still ranks ahead of many other current mainstream titles.Following the news in April that the final Nissan NP200 had been produced and rolled off the Rosslyn production line, some run-out stock is still being registered as new vehicle sales according to The Automotive Business Council .
With data from the month, it means the discontinued Nissan still outsold the Jac T-Series, Suzuki Super Carry, Toyota Quantum, GWM Steed, Mahindra Bolero, Hyundai Grand i10 and Peugeot Landtrek, which rounded the list for light commercial vehicles over the period.Worth noting that in its heyday, the NP200 would constantly rank well over 1 000 units per month, making it a frequent contender in the top five best-selling bakkies list.
