Yakuza 8 is officially titled Like a Dragon 8 and will release in 2024, with Kazuma Kiryu returning, Sega has announced.
Notice:“The scale of the game is really big, it’s going to be the largest game to date,” Masayoshi Yokoyama said during the Q&A following the reveal.
“The game is about Kiryu who has all of his past on his back and Ichiban who has all of the future ahead of him. We felt we had to bring back Kiryu for that theme.” The game will release in 2024, but RGG Studio is keen to emphasize that the game is still in development. “We’re still in the process of recording the lines,” said Masayoshi Yokoyama.
