LoadShedding Millions were left with no power over the weekend after stage 4 was implemented.
Eskom announced it would continue with load-shedding stage 4 on Monday and Tuesday.South Africans took to social media to express their frustration after Eskom announced that load-shedding up to stage 4 would continue into the week.
Some South Africans started off Monday morning with no power, including parts of Johannesburg north, causing major traffic delays. Millions were left with no power over the weekend after stage 4 was implemented. The power utility stated that about 80% of the country's demand will still be met during stage 4.
Eskom said its maintenance teams are working to resolve the matter and will return generation units to the electricity system, citing capacity constraints as the main problem. The extension of the load-shedding period infuriated many as the power cuts continue to impact the daily lives of millions of South Africans.
Is there time to change my thesis to the art of darkness? No chance to research and write last night, nor this morning from the usual 4am. Thanks
