Kranenburg said “initial reports” were that the victim and the suspect were unknown to each other but authorities were awaiting video footage from the streetcar to see how the incident unfolded. The stabbing follows another alarming incident Monday around 3:35 p.m. when two TTC employees suffered minor injuries after being swarmed on a bus by 10 to 15 young people in Scarborough..Police said the assaults happened in the area of Kennedy and Merrian Rds., south of Eglinton Ave. E.
Through extensive investigation and review of TTC surveillance video, four male suspects were identified and arrested.Article content
