Ottawa Conservative MP Pierre Poilievre is the prohibitive front-runner in the current Conservative leadership election. It's highly speculative, but some Conservative and Liberal insiders say that if he were to win the leadership contest, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau could call a snap election in the fall or at the earliest possible opportunity.
