The Soweto giants parted ways with three strikers in Lazarous Kambole, Samir Nurkovic, and Leonardo Castro and they haven’t laid their hands on the trio’s suitable replacements despite coach Zwane naming the ‘perfect striker’ for Amakhosi’s rebuild.
But no deal has been concluded with any of the above-mentioned players with Ashley Du Preez, Chiefs’ new signing, the only attacker that can be used as a striker even though he is more of a winger. “How many strikers do we have in the country right now that have scored more than Peter Shalulile? Can you get Peter Shalulile from Sundowns? No.” Meanwhile, Chiefs legend Vusi 'Computer' Lamola, told Soccer Laduma that he is impressed to a certain extent with the new arrivals at the club.
