He co-founded the company in spring 2021 and since then it’s attracted serious capital — $37 million last fall — and has grown to 40 employees. It was while overseas that Khazzam got the idea for Float, as he and others frequently paid for company expenses on their credit cards and then had to sift through the bills and fill out expense reports. “Thousands and thousands of these expense reports pile up.”
