This year it's back - but for 10 days
The Goose Fair is back after a two-year break. Thrilling rides, candyfloss and an endless amount of mushy peas are set to return this week.
This year's event at the Forest Recreation Ground will be slightly different from previous years as it will be held across 10 days for the first time. The fair will run from Friday, September 30, until Sunday, October 9. A lot has changed in the world since the last Goose Fair in 2019 but visitors can expect much of the same when they visit. Old favourites are set to return including the 'Cake Walk', 'Gallopers' and Hook-a-Duck.Food is also a major attraction when it comes to the fair including the famous Cock-on-a-Stick, Grantham gingerbread and of course mushy peas.With excitement building ahead of the Goose Fair's return, we want to know what you are most looking forward to.
