Parents at an Alexandria primary school will be asked to give feedback on proposals to include an additional support needs base on campus.
Residents will be invited to share their views on the plans, from Monday, October 3 until Friday, November 11, which would see refurbishment works carried out on the existing building and for the two schools to operate simultaneously.The issue was discussed at the most recent education meeting this week.
“At the moment we don’t have enough availability for the pupils that we have. There are a couple of concerns which we need to make sure are addressed when this goes to consultation. “As a parent who has had a child at St Martins and Riverside, I am aware there are areas in which they can mix and I don’t know how easy that will be to control.
