Jamie Roberts and Mike Phillips have slammed head coach Warren Gatland following Wales’ historic home defeat to Fiji, which extended their current losing streak to 10 Tests.
Roberts, who enjoyed a decorated career under Gatland, delivered a damning assessment of the current state of Welsh rugby on“It’s the worst Wales have ever been in the professional era,” said Roberts, who currently serves on the Welsh Rugby Union board. Phillips went further, expressing personal grievances: “It fills me with revulsion when I hear this guy talk about family. Did he talk to me at the end of my career, he did! I won for this guy. This man is only in it for himself and it hurts me to see all this str*nt of praise he gets.”
