It will start and end with cool temperatures and rain, but there will be a couple of perfect summer days buried in the middle
This coming long weekend will start and end with cool temperatures and rain, but there will be a couple of perfect summer days buried in the middle.
Saturday and Sunday will see temperatures well into the upper 20s with plenty of sunshine. We just need to eliminate the cool northwest winds that will plague the region on Friday. Friday will be mostly cloudy, and the northwest wind keeps daytime highs near 19°C. There is a slight risk for an isolated shower well north of the city.
Sunshine returns on Saturday and Sunday to help temperatures climb above seasonal values for the end of July. Saturday will see daytime highs climb to 26°C, and Sunday could even reach 30°C! A little humidity later in the weekend could even bring humidex values in the mid-30s. The sunshine and heat end on Monday as a cold front arrives to bring clouds, showers and possibly some thunderstorms. However, temperatures won't fall too far - likely back to the mid-20s.
