The South African Weather Service said in a statement that it is a Yellow Level 2 warning.

"Yellow L2 severe thunderstorms with strong damaging winds, severe lightning and heavy falls are expected over parts of Amajuba, Zululand, Umzinyathi and Uthukela district municipalities this afternoon," it said.SA Weather Service forecaster Ayanda Ntsele says showers over Uthukela and Amajuba. "There's a 30% chance of most parts but 60% over the Uthukela and Amajuba districts, specifically the north-western parts with similar impacts of yesterday with lightening, strong winds as well as heavy downpours."
