Barb Morrison caught a few cloud formations in this photo over the weekend in Sydney, N.S., but was more curious about those two vertical clouds. We see contrails regularly as the water vapour in exhaust from aircraft cools and condenses. However, sometimes the upper-level wind shear can tear these contrail cirrus clouds apart, making for more interesting formations. That's a great capture, Barb. Thanks for sharing.
