His critics have asked him who made him the ambassador of Africa.
While some commended him for his bravery, others asked him who appointed him as an ambassador for the whole continent.
Responding to the critics, he said: “[I appointed] Myself. The day you start travelling to other continents only then you will understand that as soon as you leave your country or continent of origin, automatically you represent where you’re from. No one has to elect you. It’s your consciousness that should kick in.
“I have co-executive produced over 31 multi-platinum award-winning albums . Seven albums of my own. Helped multiple brothers & sisters become successful artists and big brands in music. SA hip-hop lyricists of all time #RIPHHP and #RIPProkid tell you on their songs about me.” However, some of them were still not backing down, and said no one sent him to represent Africa, and he should have just said he was there in his personal capacity.
