DJ Sbu was on the receiving end of criticism following an impromptu speech at a memorial site for American rapper Nipsey Hussle.
On Tuesday, Los Angeles police said they had arrested one suspect.Speaking at a memorial site in Los Angeles on Monday, the former MetroFM deejay told crowds that he was representing the African continent.
"My name is DJ Sbu. I come all the way from Johannesburg in South Africa. I'm here as an ambassador for Hip hip music and the culture in the entire African continent. I represent musicians from the whole continent."Numerous Twitter users claimed that the Tembisa-born hitmaker had abandoned his House and Kwaito roots in favour of Hip Hop music.
