Campaigners say women have waited long enough and ministers should act now
The Government has been put on notice after new calls were made to debate the WASPI campaign findings into the "devastating impact" of State Pension age changes on women.
However campaigners say women have waited long enough and ministers should act now. Earlier this month WASPI said 250,000 women have died while waiting for the issue to be resolved, saying: "Justice delayed is truly justice denied." "Both the High Court and Court of Appeal have supported the actions of the DWP under successive governments dating back to 1995 and the Supreme Court refused the claimants permission to appeal."
