Mya has sold over 30 items in a month.
Mya has a tip you can try on Vinted Are you opening and closing your Vinted app again and again, looking to see whether those knee-high boots you never wore have had any offers? The life of a Vinted seller can be up and down, but one expert has revealed a sure fire way to rake in the cash. Content creator Mya Turner took to TikTok to share her tips to flog a whole bunch of stuff on the second-hand selling app.
If you sell more than 30 items a year and earn over £1,700 a year on one of these platforms, you’ll need to share this data with HMRC. It’s unlikely you’ll need to pay taxes on items you sell if you only sell a handful of items a year. However, you’ll need to pay tax if you sell any item for more than £6,000 and there is a profit from the sale . But even if you do sell something for £6,000 or more, you can use your capital gains tax-free allowance of £3,000 to offset it.
