Pasig Mayor-elect Vico Sotto on Monday said he is not inclined to join President Duterte’s PDP Laban and would rather be part of a small political party.
The 29-year-old Sotto ran for mayor as an independent candidate with no vice mayor and only two councilors. He ran under the Aksyon Demokratiko political party. “I really think if he does push through with it, siya naman yung mapapahiya hindi naman po kami . It’s his right. He can do it, but it’s time for us to move forward,” Sotto said.
Meanwhile, Sotto also clarified that city hall employees won’t be removed from their post as long as they are not involved in any illegal activities.
