Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) A boarded-up window and empty boxes is what remains of a break-in and theft at the Foodlink facility on Mount Read Blvd. Sunday night.

Pres. Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden host public school students, military kids and more for trick-or-treating at the White House.Suspects entered through a garage door window at Foodlink's location on Mt. Read Blvd. in Rochester and loaded a truck with hundreds of pounds of non-perishable food, paper towels, and diapers the night of Oct. 29, 2023.

Foodlink said suspects broke a small garage door window to get into the building, propped open an exit door and loaded a truck with boxes of various items including diapers, paper towels and non-perishable foods. The incident comes just ahead of November, Foodlink's busiest month, when the nonprofit said it moves 2 million pounds of food to organizations in need.

Dwyer also says this is not the first time someone has broken into Foodlink's building, claiming the organization's trucks have also been broken into. He said they will increase security patrols on the building to prevent further break-ins.
