Passing motorists honked their horns in support of striking educational support workers in Windsor Oct. 24. - Carole Morris-UnderhillBERWICK, N.S. — The NSGEU, which represents striking school support workers at the Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education, says it will return to the bargaining table Friday.

The union said a conciliation officer for NSGEU Local 73 called for the union and the workers' employer back to negotiations. It noted that this does not mean that there is a new offer tabled. NSGEU said it remains hopeful that Local 70 members with the South Shore Regional Centre for Education will be called back, as well.It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
