The Department of Education in KZN insists the collapse of the province's school feeding scheme is because of the main service provider - even though it concedes that it too was unable to fulfill some of its duties relating to the service agreement.
In a presentation to the oversight committee on basic education, Thandoxolo Cele, the KZN education deputy director: strategic management, monitoring and evaluation, outlined what led to the collapse of the nutrition programme in large parts of the province.
