The U.S. Memorial Health Centre emergency department will be temporarily closed from Aug. 1-10. The department will be closed from 8 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 1 until 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10.

Patients requiring emergency services should call 911 or proceed to the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre or the Dr. S. Beckley Clinic in Grand Bank if they feel they have a serious or urgent medical problem.Family practice clinics and outpatient laboratory services, such as blood collection and X-ray, will continue to be available by appointment at the U.S. Memorial Health Centre.
