Appearing via Webex, the Edmonton-South MLA was not asked to enter a plea Wednesday, and the case was adjourned until Aug. 24.admitted that he hacked into the province’s online COVID-19 vaccine record system using Premier Jason Kenney’s birthday and vaccine information to successfully access someone else’s vaccine details.
He has maintained he hacked the system to highlight vulnerabilities, arguing that companies often hire security experts to test their systems, and has advocated for changes related to the province’s cybersecurity.as an independent MLA for the remainder of this term but he has withdrawn his request to rejoin the Alberta NDP caucus.Share this Story:
