A man was left with life-threatening injuries.

Two suspects are wanted in a murder bid after a man suffered life-threatening injuries.

Emergency services were called to Guthrie Street in the city's Maryhill at around 5.45am on Saturday morning.He was transported by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he is now in stable condition.Detective Sergeant Stephen Palmer from Maryhill CID, said: “A man has sustained serious injuries as a result of this attack and we are appealing for information to help trace those responsible.

DS Palmer added:"They are both white, one is of a stocky build and dressed all in black, the other is of a slim build and wearing a white jacket with possibly a ‘Just Eat’ logo and a yellow/mustard skip cap. “I would ask if you recognise these men from the descriptions or were in the Maryhill area around the time of the incident and saw anyone acting suspicious, that you come forward and speak to police.Anyone with any information is urged to call 101, quoting reference number 0725 of Saturday, November 19, 2022.
