Three were arrested overall on suspicion of drugs offences
Two Manchester men have been arrested in Leeds after a drugs bust yesterday evening . More than £2 million worth of cocaine and MDMA were seized leading to their arrests.
Another man was arrested in connection with this who is from the Leeds area, West Yorkshire Police say. The drugs were recovered from the East End Park area of the city with the three men arrested on suspicion of drugs offences. The drugs seized included 16.5kg of cocaine and 48kg or MDMA. Police say this has a street value of more than £2m.A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Three men have been arrested on suspicion drugs offences after officers from West Yorkshire Police recovered a substantial amount of Class A drugs in the East End Park area of Leeds yesterday evening .
"One male arrested is from the Leeds area and the other two are from Manchester. Drugs seized included 16.5kg of cocaine and 48kg of MDMA with a total street value in excess of £2 million."
