This is a state indictment, unlike Cohen's federal case, that was pursued by a different prosecutor's office.it may focus on how Cohen was reimbursed after he took out a home equity loan to finance the payment to Daniels, and whether Trump himself was privy to a process—that allegedly ran through Trump's company—to disguise the installments as a legal retainer paid to Cohen on regular intervals.
But again, we won't know anything until the indictment is released. He will need to make his way up to New York to be arraigned on whatever charges are in the indictment. He will reportedly appear before Judge Juan Merchan of the New York Supreme Court.
