Former President Donald Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) are statistically tied in a hypothetical 2024 Republican primary matchup, according to a recent Neighborhood Research survey.

Trump has also taken preemptive strikes at DeSantis, although the Florida governor has not said he intends to run in 2024.
