IAN NATHANSON/CAPE BRETON POST - IAN NATHANSON/CAPE BRETON POSTMacAdam shared a text from Pat Tamlyn, one of O’Neil’s closest friends and musical pals, who summed his musical influences as ranging from jazz to rock, including the likes of Manfred Mann’s Earth Band, Triumvirat , Spirit, Pat Metheny and Lenny Breau.
“He impacted everybody so uniquely,” MacLeod said. “For me, we lived under the same roof for four years and we were like brother and sister, and my boyfriend was even so supportive of him. “Glen talked about so many things historically with me,” Crowe said. “I wish I could remember the origins of the things he said. You try your best to keep up with someone with that much knowledge. But he was thoughtful about it.”
