Sandile Mthethwa proved to be the difference as his late extra time goal ensured Bucs’ passage to the Nedbank Cup final, while for Chiefs, their eight-year wait for a trophy continues.
“My mandate at Chiefs is to win trophies. I think we’re obviously in a season where we wanted to get things right first. Find a way of playing, get the right chemistry within the team and how do we beef up and start challenging,” he told journalists at the FNB Stadium.
