The Amakhosi suffered a 2-1 defeat to arch-rivals Orlando Pirates in extra-time on Saturday evening, which will now extend the club's trophy drought to eight years.
“We imposed ourselves but we did not create enough chances but we got another one that we could’ve at least equalised go to halftime 1-1 and then second half we had to change the strategy a little bit. “We were just supposed to now put them more under pressure and we had chances especially at the far post, we just did not take those chances from Sifiso, Caleb and Ash and ja I think in extra-time again we got another chance that we did not take and against the run of play as well we did not push enough, we did not challenge.
“They managed to pin-point and that’s how we managed to give it away and look I can’t blame the players they gave their all. They tried their level best it wasn’t to be."
