Nantes, meanwhile, had to wait until the 19th minute for their first sight at goal on 19 minutes when Ludovic Blas' left-footed strike forced Gianluigi Donarumma into a superb save. Nantes did show signs of getting back into the encounter before the break, but Prensel Kimpembe did well to thwart Evann Guessand's goal-bound strike.
PSG carried that dominance over to the second half and went on to grab a third goal just before the mark thanks to a lovely back-heeled finish from Sergio Ramos after his initial effort was saved by Lafont.
