TROY , Ala. - Troy Athletics released new details surrounding gameday parking and stadium section updates for the upcoming 2024 football season on Wednesday.The student section in The Vet Stadium has expanded to accommodate the record-setting numbers Troy University students continue to set.
The student section now includes Section 107 on the stadium’s East Side which, Troy Athletics said, will allow students to create “one of the most intimidating atmospheres for opponents to enter in the Sun Belt Conference.” Along with the expansion, Sections 207 and 209 in the upper deck are now general admission sections, making the entire East deck general admission seating.
Section 118 transitioned to a reserved section on the West Side of the stadium. The bricks between sections 118 and 120 will serve as a divider between reserved and general admission seating for the lower bowl.To ensure the protection of all premium areas, Troy Athletics will enforce wristband identifiers for patrons within the North End Zone, Stadium Club and Michelob Ultra Lounge.Wristbands will be provided to patrons after tickets are scanned at the appropriate entrance.
Fans who have parking passes access to the National Guard Armory Lot or North End Zone Lot will be granted access to those lots within the two-hour closure. All traffic to those lots must enter from the North end of George Wallace Drive from Downtown/Elm Street, not U.S. Highway 231.and receive the latest local news and weather straight to your email every morning.
