The Town of New Glasgow is being recognized with the Nova Scotia Federation of Municipalities’ 2022 Climate Change Leaders Award for its Net Zero New Glasgow program.NEW GLASGOW, N.S. — The Town of New Glasgow is being recognized with the Nova Scotia Federation of Municipalities’ 2022 Climate Change Leaders Award for its Net Zero New Glasgow program.
In just three years, the town has built a climate and sustainability portfolio that can be integrated into municipal operations. The program includes the implementation of the Town’s Climate Action Volunteer Program and the Clean Energy Financing Program, which are currently accepting applications.
