In South Africa, e.tv never disappointed and brought us the same Christmas movies year after year. For some, the overindulgence left a bitter taste in the mouth, but for me, a classic remains just that — a classic that certainly can and should be rewatched over the holidays.

Falling for Christmas is ever so slightly charming. Lindsay Lohan makes an on-screen return and plays the entitled daughter of a hotel mogul. She gets amnesia in a skiing accident and is forced to rediscover the magic of Christmas and falling in love.
When burglars try to break into his house, a trail of destruction follows and the burglars at completely at Kevin's mercy.Home Alone would have taken the number one spot, but that was before the release of this brilliant and local Christmas series. How to Ruin Christmas feels familiar. The production is exceptional and the characters are well considered . The Netflix series is simply hilarious. The first season is undoubtedly my favourite, but the third is not half bad either.
