An independent investigator has been appointed to investigate allegations of sexual harassment against a metro police department chief.
The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department has placed its chief, Isaac Mapiyeye, on precautionary suspension following sexual misconduct allegations levelled against him by a staff member.
