A year after four Indian nationals were found frozen to death near the Manitoba\u002DU.S. border, police are still trying to trace the family’s time in Canada.

Jan. 13, 2022 – Between their arrival and the 13th, the Patels stayed at a hotel in the Mississauga, Ont., area. They travelled in the Toronto area using both private vehicles and a ride-sharing service. Jan. 14-16, 2022 – Between these days, the family moved around the Mississauga area and Welland, Ont.Jan. 18, 2022 – The Patels arrived in Emerson sometime in the late evening to begin their attempted crossing.
