Congratulations on launching your vitamin line, Anser, this year! What inspired you to create your own supplements line?My wellness journey inspired me. I have something called endometriosis, and I didn’t even know it affected other organs in your body. After two surgeries, my doctor suggested that I needed to change my lifestyle and diet. I started seeing a nutritionist, changing my diet, doing yoga, and then taking supplements, that’s when I started seeing a change in my body.
Women, including my mother, tend to put everyone first and themselves last. The tagline for our company is, “You are the answer.” You are the only one that can take care of you and the only one that can take charge of your wellbeing. I want women to meditate on the statement at self-care isn’t selfish. It’s ok for you to take care of yourself.
The Create & Cultivate conference created this community of badass women, there’s no other word that has the same purpose and goals, and when you put all of us in a room together, it’s so empowering and impactful. I’ve created such amazing friendships being part of this movement. It’s a sisterhood! How do you feel about Create & Cultivate actively including diversity within the programming? It’s fantastic! What I love about it is, they understand diversity and the value of it.
It has. My business partner and I embody the whole theme of Create & Cultivate, which is collaboration over competition. This conference helps millennial women navigate the career that they want. Whether it's becoming a boss, growing in a larger organization and figuring out a leadership role within the company, or becoming a content creator with brands, Create & Cultivate allows room for all.
