Thurston County Sheriff Derek Sanders was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center Sunday after a car accident while on patrol, according to jasonrantz
Sanders was reportedly on a rare daytime patrol shift where he made at least one arrest for theft and felony impersonation . The accident was reported around 3:38 p.m., where he was then airlifted to Harborview.
