Itumeleng Khune has represented Kaizer Chiefs with great distinction. He recently made his 364th appearance for Amakhosi, the most of any player in the club’s PSL era history. The 2023-24 campaign will be his last at the club as a player, so a long-term replacement must therefore be found. Katlehong-born Lungile Nkosi, still just 20, is thought to be that man.Club vice-captainsigned a two-year deal in 2021 with an option for a further year.
