Back in May 2021, CBRM Mayor Amanda McDougall and nine municipal councillors voted in favour of allowing CBRM staff to carry out a feasibility study on a possible Centre 200 expansion, on the condition of securing federal and provincial funding, with the municipality chipping in $30,000.
