In an emailed statement to The News, CCRCE communications manager Jennifer Rodgers said there is no truth to this claim. We do believe that all students should feel accepted, valued and welcome at school. CCRCE is committed to fulfilling the directives and guiding principles as outlined in the NS Provincial Inclusive Education Policy.”
The rumour is one of those online stories that gets repeated and shared and commented on but has no basis in fact or any proof to back it up. In short, it’s an urban myth.“Yes, I have heard of the online rumour of school litter boxes and have dismissed it due to its foolishness. Sadly, this rumour has required public schools in some provinces to actually release a statement on social media indicating that their schools do not have litter boxes.
