Cleaning enthusiasts have taken to social media to share the weed killing methods they swear by.
Weeds have the remarkable ability to sprout any and everywhere, even sprouting amid cracks in the pavement.
As reported by the Express, one user wrote in the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook page: "I’ve tried and tested this method. Use a gallon of white vinegar, one cup of salt and two tablespoons of washing-up liquid. The solution costs less than a pound as a bottle of vinegar will run you 29p at Tesco or 40p at Sainsbury's. The method is backed up by Gene Lorraine, gardening expert from Fantastic Services, who says white vinegar's acetic acid makes it an effective natural weed killer.
