Hop on board East Lancashire Railway's ghost train this Halloween
With Halloween only a few days away you may be looking for a spooky activity to do with the kids this half term. Naturally pumpkin patches and theme parks are the first places that spring to mind when you think of things to do to get you in the mood for spooky season.
The East Lancashire Railway is running its Ghost Trains on October 26, 27 and 28 where families can take a ride on a steam train full of frightening fun. Kids can meet some monstrous characters, including a friendly vampire, a chatty zombie and mad Dr Frakenburger along the way. Screaming and singing along is very much encouraged. Kids will also receive a goody bag full of tricks and treats.
