Parts of Northern Ireland , Exeter and Plymouth have been warned that areas of low pressure could bring flooding, disruption and even the possibility of power cuts.
Yellow weather warnings are in place as floods and lightning are set to batter Britain after days of sun and scorching temperatures.
Despite the weather warnings, warmer days will continue in some parts of the UK for the rest of the week but with highs of only 18C for the south of England. Thunderstorms are set to batter Northern Ireland and Devon in the coming days bringing possible flooding and travel disruption In contrast to the scorching temperatures and highs of 22C, there will be rain and gusts of winds across Scotland and Northern England.
