Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr played together on stage this week
Paul McCartney's fans all had the same idea after he brought his 'Got Back' world tour to an end. Sir Paul , 82, has been on the road since October and played two nights at The O2 in London this week, culminating in Thursday's show when he brought out Ronnie Wood and then Ringo Starr for the encore . Arriving on stage, Sir Ringo said: “I’ve had a great night tonight, it’s been a great show.
And another surprise for you – the mighty, the one and only, Ringo Starr! See you next time!' Sir Paul had brought Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood on stage for the song 'Get Back', which saw him play his original Hofner 500/1 bass for the first time in 50 years, after it was stolen in 1972. But the headline event was Sir Ringo's cameo and it has given fans an idea. Many have asked for the two to tour together.
