'Ooo imagine these dunked in a cuppa!'
There’s a new spin on a classic biscuit. Rich Tea biscuits are an iconic British snack, most commonly enjoyed alongside a cuppa so they can be given a good dunk. However, they have always had some major competition from another McVities snack — the Chocolate Digestive, because melty chocolate is always a winner. But Rich Tea fans won’t have to pick between the two any longer, as the brand has just launched an exciting new twist on the classic.
’ But some were unsure about the change to the classic, with Charlotte Morris admitting: ‘I don’t know how to feel.’ And a few weren’t keen on the biscuits at all, branding Rich Tea ‘crispy cardboard’ and saying they taste ‘boring’. If these aren’t for you, then perhaps another McVities launch might be more up your street, as the snack company also recently introduced Cola Bottle-flavoured Jaffa Cakes.
