TerraceBC federal civil servants join nationwide strike
Federal civil servants in Terrace who are members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada , joined colleagues across the country on strike as of April 19 by picketing outside the Service Canada building.
Essential services such as direct deposit and pension payments will continue but obtaining a passport will be disrupted. The union is offering its 155,000 striking members $75-per-day to show up to the picket line. The bargaining groups involve 155,000 federal public servants, including 35,000 Canada Revenue Agency staffers
