TerraceBC and area garbathon set for April 23
Spring not only means the appearance of new growth, it also reveals garbage and litter that’s accumulated over the winter months.
“Litter is litter. It’s everywhere. Sure it can blow around but people should also be more responsible,” said Chris Hansen, a former president of the beautification society and still active volunteer. This year the container will be at George Little Park from noon to 4 p.m. along with other containers for metals and other recyclable material.
